A quest to find the best burger in America, or for that matter, any country I visit. Every trip brings a burger opportunity. And on any given visit, there is also the possibility of discovering of some great cheese fries, onion rings or shakes! Life's short- let's eat! Bon Appetit! And please, check out my burger rankings for the best burger near you. And you can help me attack my "Burger To-Do List" by state by letting me know if I am missing a great burger near you!

The Spence - Atlanta, GA

This is a Top Chef Richard Blais restaurant. It was EXCELLENT! I went during a leadership forum with my good friend John. Two people 4 entrees and 3 apps and/or sides....not kidding. We ate A LOT!! And all of it was good. It's a great place to check out if you find yourself in Atlanta!

As a local Atlantan I would like to redirect you. I have a friend that makes me go to The Earl every time he is here because even though you are knee deep in PBR and guys with old testament beards they grill a mean burger.
ReplyDeleteThe holy grail of Atlanta burgers is Holeman & Finch. You have to order about 8 pm and wait til 10 pm to get it. They only serve 24 a night. Its an elusive burger, but good things come to those who wait.
Farm Burger is a local chain now, but its worth a trip to the original in Decatur.
Thanks for your feedback! I've been wanting to go to Holeman and Finch forever and it never works with my timing in town. I will give the Earl a try and I can handle a good PBR every once in a while! Thanks for the leads.
